Our winery is located fifteen minutes from Des Moines and Ames and twenty minutes from the west side of Des Moines. Nestled in the White Oak Creek Valley and surrounded by acres of vines, our winery provides a unique setting for your special day.
We have a banquet facility that holds 300 people and a tasting room that will hold around 75 people. The rooms are available to rent separately or you may rent both. Either room would also work for a ceremony and reception. We also have a gazebo on the grounds that is available for outdoor weddings. Chairs and/or tent will need to be rented for outdoor ceremonies.
Your special day is important to White Oak Vineyards, so we only book one event a day. This allows you to set up for your day and utilize the grounds for photos.
Services:

meet with you to plan the details and floor plan for your day
- set up the room according to floor plan
- take care of details the day of your event so you do not need to provide a person to be at the winery
- meet and work with any of your vendors
- provide tables and chairs for up to 300 guests indoors
- we have 5’ rounds; 4’, 6’ and 8’ rectangles; a 6’ ice table (white, Lifetime brand)
- open facility for various wedding vendors and decorating
- provide wine tasting and sales for the length of your event
- clean the facility after the event (ending time no later than 11:30)
We have a list of preferred caterers. However, you can bring any caterer of your choice. We ask that your caterer be a licensed caterer and that we have a copy of their license if we are unfamiliar with them. We do not provide linens or tableware. These will need to be provided by the caterer or rented.
We ask that all wine be purchased through White Oak Vineyards. We offer a 15% wedding case (12 bottles) discount. We don't sell beer or hard liquor, however we charge a $225 corkage fee for hard liquor to be brought in and $225 fee for the first two kegs you to bring in. Any additional keg after two brought in will be a $50 per keg fee. We have ice available and the use of our keg cooler. Off-duty officers are required for the event when bringing in alcohol. White Oak Vineyards will arrange this service at the expense of the rental party. (Two off-duty officers: $35/hr each for 4 hour minimum)
Please let me know if you would like to come out and see the facilities and book a date. We ask that $1000 deposit be put down to save your date. $1000 is applied towards your final fees. We are booking fast.
